Lecturer in Korean Language Sought at UMass Amherst

The Uni­ver­si­ty of Mass­a­chu­setts Amherst seeks appli­cants for a three‐year renew­able full‐time lec­ture­ship in Kore­an lan­guage (six cours­es per year) begin­ning in fall 2012. The suc­cess­ful can­di­date will be pre­pared to offer cours­es in ele­men­tary, inter­me­di­ate, and advanced Kore­an lan­guage.

The select­ed appli­cant will be a joint appointee in the Five Col­lege Kore­an Lan­guage Pro­gram and will be based in the Depart­ment of Lan­guages, Lit­er­a­tures, and Cul­tures on the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mass­a­chu­setts Amherst cam­pus. Joint appointees nor­mal­ly teach on more than one cam­pus. Salary is com­men­su­rate with qual­i­fi­ca­tions and expe­ri­ence.
