Postdoctoral Fellowship at Australian National University

image: ANU Korea Institute logoThe Korea Insti­tute at the Aus­tralian Nation­al Uni­ver­si­ty Col­lege of Asia and the Pacif­ic is seek­ing to recruit a Post­doc­tor­al Fel­low to join a world-class group of researchers to con­tribute to Korea-related research fields of human­i­ties and social sci­ences.

The Post­doc­tor­al Fel­low­ship is for a fixed peri­od of two years, begin­ning in August 2015. The Post­doc­tor­al Fel­low is expect­ed to: active­ly engage in research while par­tic­i­pat­ing in var­i­ous forums and sem­i­nars on cam­pus; teach one course relat­ed to his or her research inter­est dur­ing the two-year peri­od of the fel­low­ship; and car­ry out some admin­is­tra­tive respon­si­bil­i­ties in plan­ning events on cam­pus such as the Kore­an Stud­ies lec­ture series, annu­al Korea Update, and the Kore­an Stud­ies post­grad­u­ate stu­dents writ­ing group. 

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant must have com­plet­ed his or her Ph.D. by the time of appoint­ment. Native or near-native flu­en­cy in both Kore­an and Eng­lish is required. To be con­sid­ered for this posi­tion, appli­cants must address the selec­tion cri­te­ria, accom­pa­nied by a detailed cur­ricu­lum vitae with con­tact infor­ma­tion of at least two ref­er­ees.
