The Program in East Asian Studies at Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts, invites applications for a full-time position as lecturer in Korean studies. This is a two-year, non-tenure-track, benefits-eligible appointment, beginning July 2015.
Smith seeks someone trained in the humanities or social sciences to teach surveys of premodern and modern Korea and advanced Korean studies courses (other than language and literature) from interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives. The normal teaching load is five courses per year.
