Korean Unification Studies Web Site

Gunther Dilworth has created a new Web site (currently a blog) on Korean unification studies. The site seeks to inspire debate and discussion as well as to inform readers about issues related to the unification of North and South Korea.

Key topics on the site include North and South Korean policies on unification, divided-states theory, inter-Korean dialogue and the leaders’ summit, North Korean diplomatic normalization, South Korean public opinion on unification, and third-country interests in Korean peninsula unification. The site is as yet very young, but Dilworth expects to expand it to include a discussion forum and document resources on Korean unification. “Ultimately,” he says, “it will serve as a bridge between Korean studies academics and policy makers, in both Korea and the west.”

The address of the blog is: www.koreanunification.net. The site’s administrator can be contacted by e-mail at: koreanunification@gmail.com.
