Korean Traditional Music Orchestra of Hanyang University

Korean Traditional OrchestraThe Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Hawaii at Manoa Music Depart­ment, in coöper­a­tion with the Hanyang Uni­ver­si­ty Alum­ni Asso­ci­a­tion in Hawaii, will present a per­for­mance by the Kore­an Tra­di­tion­al Music Orches­tra of Hanyang Uni­ver­si­ty Sat­ur­day, Feb­ru­ary 6, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in Orvis Audi­to­ri­um on the UH Manoa campus.

The Kore­an Tra­di­tion­al Music Orches­tra of Hanyang Uni­ver­si­ty is a troupe of thir­ty musi­cians (ten fac­ul­ty and twen­ty grad­u­ate and under­grad­u­ate stu­dents). The group, on its way back to Korea fol­low­ing per­for­mances in Atlanta and San Fran­cis­co, will per­form selec­tions from Kore­an court and folk repertoires.

Admis­sion is $12 gen­er­al /​ $8 stu­dents and seniors.
