Korean Language Lecturer Position Available at UC Riverside

The Depart­ment of Com­par­a­tive Lit­er­a­ture and For­eign Lan­gu­gages at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia, River­side, invites appli­ca­tions for a lec­tur­er posi­tion in Kore­an to teach for the fall quar­ter of 2010. Can­di­dates must have at least an M.A. degree in Kore­an lan­guage or Kore­an stud­ies, sig­nif­i­cant teach­ing expe­ri­ence at the col­lege or uni­ver­si­ty lev­el, and a dynam­ic class­room pres­ence.

Duties include teach­ing one sec­tion in advanced or begin­ning Kore­an (a 33% appoint­ment). Salary per course is $4,959.56. The fall quar­ter begins Sep­tem­ber 23 and ends Decem­ber 11.
