The Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS) seeks candidates for a Korean language and cultural instructor position based in Doha, Qatar, to begin in January 2011.
This is a full-time, two-year contract position, which involves teaching one class of 6–8 students in an intensive classroom environment (approximately four hours of instruction five days a week). Candidates should possess native or near-native fluency in Korean and English (or Arabic), a master’s degree in a relevant subject, and three to four years of teaching experience, preferably at the university level.
QIASS offers an extremely competitive salary and benefits package, including full-furnished housing, a monthly stipend to help defray transportation and phone costs, roundtrip airfare to the instructor’s home country at the beginning/end of the contract and after one year of service, and thirty days of paid vacation plus local holidays.
