Korean Economy Is Topic of Annual Lecture Series

“Opportunities and Challenges in the Korean Economy” is the topic of the annual Dr. N.H. Paul Chung Memorial Lecture and Luncheon sponsored by the Pacific Asian Management Institute of the Shidler College of Business Administration on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.

photo: Euh Yoon-DaeThe guest speaker will be Yoon-Dae Euh, chief executive officer and chairman (retired) of KB Financial Group, Inc., Korea’s largest banking group. He was president of Korea University and the first chairman of the Presidential Council on Nation Branding, Korea. He previously served as vice-chair of Korea’s National Economic Advisory Council; chair of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources; Monetary Board member of the Bank of Korea; board member of the Korea Development Bank; and chairman of the Steering Committee of Korea Investment Corporation. Euh holds a Ph.D. in business administration, with a concentration in international finance, from the University of Michigan.
