Dr. Mee Hye Kim will present research on the baby boomers in South Korea Monday, December 5, 2016, at 12 noon. She will speak from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Gartley Hall, Room 018, on the University of Hawaii Manoa campus.
Kim is a professor at Ewha Womans University with expertise in gerontology, women’s welfare, and social welfare policy analysis. She has spent this year as a visiting scholar at the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work.
She is currently a board member of the Federation of Korean Gerontological Societies, a former president of the Korean Gerontological Society, and a commissioner of the Social Welfare Committee of Seoul City, Elderly welfare section.
