The Department of Chinese and Korean Studies of the Institute of Asian and Oriental Studies, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, invites applications for the position of full-time lecturer to begin October 1, 2013, and not to exceed six years.
The position requires a Ph.D. degree; scientific qualifications for teaching and research in the field of modern Korea; extensive teaching experience, especially in the field of German-Korean relations; and willingness to coöperate and contribute to the existing research projects and programs of the Korean Studies Program at the University of Tübingen. In addition, the candidate is required to be proficient in spoken and written German and Korean.
