Full-Time Lectureship Open in Germany

image: Tubingen logoThe Depart­ment of Chi­nese and Kore­an Stud­ies of the Insti­tute of Asian and Ori­en­tal Stud­ies, Eber­hard Karls Uni­ver­sität Tübin­gen, invites appli­ca­tions for the posi­tion of full-time lec­tur­er to begin Octo­ber 1, 2013, and not to exceed six years.

The posi­tion requires a Ph.D. degree; sci­en­tif­ic qual­i­fi­ca­tions for teach­ing and research in the field of mod­ern Korea; exten­sive teach­ing expe­ri­ence, espe­cial­ly in the field of Ger­man-Kore­an rela­tions; and will­ing­ness to coöper­ate and con­tribute to the exist­ing research projects and pro­grams of the Kore­an Stud­ies Pro­gram at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tübin­gen. In addi­tion, the can­di­date is required to be pro­fi­cient in spo­ken and writ­ten Ger­man and Korean.
