Fall 2010 Korean Film Miniseries

The Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies will host a series of film exhi­bi­tions in Octo­ber and Novem­ber. The series, orga­nized by CKS fac­ul­ty mem­ber Gary Pak of the UH Manoa Eng­lish Depart­ment, will be held Tues­days begin­ning at 7:00 p.m. in the Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies Audi­to­ri­um.

The sched­uled films (sub­ject to change) are:

  • Octo­ber 5: Thirst 박쥐 (2009), direct­ed by Park Chan-wook
  • Octo­ber 12: Tree­less Moun­tain 나무없는산 (2009), direct­ed by Kim So-yong
  • Octo­ber 26: Paju 파주 (2009), direct­ed by Park Chan-ok
  • Novem­ber 2: A Brand New Life 여행자 (2009), direct­ed by Ounie Lecomte
  • Novem­ber 9: The Fair Love 페어러브 (2010), direct­ed by Shin Yeon-shick
  • Novem­ber 16: Poet­ry ì‹œ (2010), direct­ed by Lee Chang-dong.
