East Asian Film Society “Family” Series Presents Taiwanese Film

On Thurs­day, Decem­ber 2, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. there will be a spe­cial screen­ing of Edward Yang’s crit­i­cal­ly acclaimed film Yi Yi: A One and a Two at the Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies audi­to­ri­um. This screen­ing is part of the East Asian Film Society’s Novem­ber Film Series on “Fam­i­ly” and is brought to you by the East Asian Coun­cil. Yi Yi: A One and a Two (2000; 173 min.) fol­lows a mid­dle-class fam­i­ly in Taipei over the course of one year, begin­ning with a wed­ding and end­ing with a funer­al.
