EALL Talk Series: Korean Light Verb Constructions

image: EALL headerCen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies vis­it­ing schol­ar Jeong-Seok Kim will present a talk titled “Ver­bal Nouns and Struc­tur­al Case in Kore­an Light Verb Con­struc­tions” Fri­day, Feb­ru­ary 28, 2014. The talk, spon­sored by the Depart­ment of East Asian Lan­guages and Lit­er­a­tures, will take place in the Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies Audi­to­ri­um from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Jeong-Seok Kim, a pro­fes­sor in the Depart­ment of Eng­lish Lan­guage and Lit­er­a­ture at Korea Uni­ver­si­ty, has pre­sent­ed his works in many aca­d­e­m­ic con­fer­ences and pub­lished numer­ous research papers in aca­d­e­m­i­cal­ly ref­er­eed jour­nals. Rep­re­sen­ta­tive pub­li­ca­tions include Syn­tac­tic Analy­sis: A First Course (2012) and When Gram­mar Meets Lin­guis­tics (2012).

The talk is free and open to the pub­lic. Light refresh­ments will be served.
