The Center for Korean Studies will host a presentation of the documentary film Koryo Saram: The Unreliable People and three illustrated lectures on aspects of Korean art on Monday, January 5, 2009, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The program is being presented in conjunction with the exhibition Traces and Trajectories: Current Works by Ten Korean American Artists, being displayed at the Honolulu Academy of Arts Academy Art Center at Linekona January 7–31, 2009.
The film will be presented by Y. David Chung, one of its creators. The lectures will be given by three of the participants in the Traces and Trajectories exhibition: Kloe Sookhee Kang, Yoonchung Park Kim, and Komelia Hongja Okim.
