The Center for Korean Studies will host a presentation of the documentary film Koryo Saram: The Unreliable People and three illustrated lectures on aspects of Korean art on Monday, January 5, 2009, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The program is being presented in conjunction with the exhibition Traces and Trajectories: Current Works by Ten Korean American Artists, being displayed at the Honolulu Academy of Arts Academy Art Center at Linekona January 7 – 31, 2009.
The film will be presented by Y. David Chung, one of its creators. The lectures will be given by three of the participants in the Traces and Trajectories exhibition: Kloe Sookhee Kang, Yoonchung Park Kim, and Komelia Hongja Okim.
