The Center for Korean Studies fall colloquium series continues on Thursday, November 6, 2008, with a presentation titled “Dr. Syngman Rhee’s Activities in Hawai’i, 1913–1945” by Duk Hee Lee Murabayashi. The colloquium will be held in the Center for Korean Studies auditorium beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Duk Hee Lee Murabayashi is one of Hawai’i’s foremost researchers and writers on the history of Koreans in the Islands and is the author of a new book on the history of the Korean Christian Church, the Korean Christian Institute, and the Tongjihoe.
