Colloquium: Presentations by Center for Korean Studies Visiting Scholars

The Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies fall col­lo­qui­um series will con­tin­ue Decem­ber 3, 2009, with pre­sen­ta­tions by three CKS vis­it­ing schol­ars: Young-Wan Goo of Kore­an Nation­al Defense Uni­ver­si­ty, BongSeok Jeong of Dong-A Uni­ver­si­ty, and Sung Jin Yoon of the Con­sti­tu­tion­al Court of Korea.

The col­lo­qui­um, which will be pre­sent­ed in Kore­an, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thurs­day, Decem­ber 3, 2009, in the Cen­ter for Kore­an Stud­ies auditorium.

The titles of the pre­sen­ta­tions are:

  • Young-Wan Goo: “Time-Vary­ing Char­ac­ter­is­tics of South Korea-Unit­ed States and Japan-Unit­ed States Mil­i­tary Alliances under Chi­nese Threat: A Pub­lic Good Approach”
  • BongSeok Jeong: “Neg­a­tive Humanities”
  • Sung Jin Yoon: “Impeach­ment of Pres­i­dent Noh, Relo­ca­tion of Nation’s Cap­i­tal, and Con­sti­tu­tion­al Adjudication”
