The Journal of Global Initiatives has issued a call for papers for a special edition on Korea, scheduled to be published in 2010. The Journal of Global Initiatives is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal of international policy, pedagogy and perspectives, published twice yearly by the Kennesaw State University Press (KSU Press) and the Institute for Global Initiatives (IGI).
Perhaps because of its location between two powerful countries (Japan and China), Korea is often overlooked and poorly understood by Americans. Yet, there have been many significant points of contact and interaction between Korea and the United States. Papers are invited for this special edition that address any aspect of Korean society and history, including its contemporary political, economic, and cultural life, and that increase understanding of the relations between Korea and its neighbors and between Korea and the United States. Articles from all disciplines are welcome.
Manuscripts should be prepared in the APA Style. For further information on how to prepare and submit your articles, please see the Journal of Global Initiatives Web site at http://www.kennesaw.edu/globalinstitute/jounalofglobalinitiatives.html.
To be considered for the special edition on Korea, all articles must be submitted electronically as an attachment in Word or RTF format and must reach the editor-in-chief, Dr. Akanmu G. Adebayo (firstname.lastname@example.org), on or before Monday, May 3, 2010.
