Call for Papers: SPAS Graduate Student Conference

The 20th Annu­al Grad­u­ate Stu­dent Con­fer­ence spon­sored by the Uni­ver­si­ty of Hawai‘i at Mānoa School of Pacif­ic and Asian Stud­ies will take place March 11 (Wednes­day) through March 13 (Fri­day), 2009, at the UH Cen­ter for Kore­an Studies.

The con­fer­ence – titled Redefin­ing Bor­ders: Look­ing Toward the Future of Asia-Pacif­ic Stud­ies – is open to stu­dents from all dis­ci­plines and aims to pro­vide a forum for grad­u­ate stu­dents from a broad range of spe­cial­ties to dis­cuss their lat­est research relat­ing to Asia and the Pacif­ic Islands. 

UH-Mānoa stu­dents and stu­dents from oth­er col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties – local, main­land, and inter­na­tion­al – are encour­aged to participate.
