The Academy of Korean Studies will host the 9th World Congress of Korean Studies at the Academy September 12th to 14th, 2018. The Congress theme is “Human Civilizations and Korean Studies.” The organizers invite prospective participants to submit proposals for both individual presentations and panels.
Panel proposals should include three or four presenters for a ninety-minute program. The panel organizer should submit a one-page proposal; one-page abstract for each presenter’s paper; and a curriculum vitae for each presenter.
The organizing committee will assign individual papers to panels of three or four presenters per panel. Individual proposals should include a one-page abstract of the paper and the presenter’s curriculum vitae.
To submit a proposal, sign up at the World Congress of Korean Studies Web site (http://congress.aks.ac.kr), select Call for Abstracts, and submit the required documents (Microsoft Word files only). The application deadline is April 27, 2018.
