Asian Religions Post at the University of Southern California

The School of Reli­gion in the USC Dana and David Dorn­sife Col­lege of Let­ters, Arts and Sci­ences at the Uni­ver­si­ty of South­ern Cal­i­for­nia in Los Ange­les, Cal­i­for­nia, invites appli­ca­tions for a tenure-track assis­tant pro­fes­sor posi­tion in Asian reli­gions for fall 2013, with a spe­cial­iza­tion in either Chi­na or Korea.

Appli­cants must demon­strate not only area-spe­cif­ic exper­tise but also flu­en­cy in reli­gious stud­ies method­olo­gies and an abil­i­ty to relate his or her work to the larg­er dis­ci­pline of the cross-cul­tur­al study of reli­gions. Appli­cants should have a Ph.D. in a rel­e­vant field at time of appoint­ment and demon­strat­ed the promise of excel­lence in both research and teach­ing.
