University of Hawai’i at Manoa undergraduate students whose studies focus on Asia and the Pacific may apply for the Asia Pacific Leadership Education Program Hanyang University Scholarship for study in Korea from July 1 to July 30, 2010.
The program will include classes on Asia Pacific society, history, culture, and economics; field trips to Korean companies such as Samsung, LG, and KIA/Hyundai; meetings with governments officials; and cultural activities.
The scholarship will provide round-trip airfare to Korea, tuition for the program, and room and board.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, must be enrolled for the fall 2010 semester at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, and must have a valid passport by June 2010. Application forms are available in the Asian Studies Program office, Moore Hall 416, and must be submitted by Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
