Academy of Korean Studies 2014 Grants

image: AKS logoThe Acad­e­my of Kore­an Stud­ies (AKS) has announced details of its 2014 Kore­an Stud­ies Grants. The aim of this grant pro­gram is “to deep­en the world’s under­stand­ing of Korea by sup­port­ing aca­d­e­m­ic activ­i­ties of Kore­an stud­ies.”

Grants are offered in three cat­e­gories: vis­it­ing lec­ture­ships, which place qual­i­fied lec­tur­ers in select­ed uni­ver­si­ties to pro­mote Kore­an stud­ies; com­pet­i­tive research fund­ing, which sup­ports inves­ti­ga­tor-cho­sen indi­vid­ual or col­lab­o­ra­tive research on Korea-relat­ed sub­jects; and work­shop and con­fer­ence sup­port for pro­grams on Korea-relat­ed sub­jects to be held between June 2014 and May 2015.
