The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) has announced details of its 2014 Korean Studies Grants. The aim of this grant program is “to deepen the world’s understanding of Korea by supporting academic activities of Korean studies.”
Grants are offered in three categories: visiting lectureships, which place qualified lecturers in selected universities to promote Korean studies; competitive research funding, which supports investigator-chosen individual or collaborative research on Korea-related subjects; and workshop and conference support for programs on Korea-related subjects to be held between June 2014 and May 2015.

The deadline for applications is March 16, 2014, with results to be announced in May 2014.
